Design your path

Something's shifting for you.

Maybe it's in how you're navigating your schedule or holding your boundaries. Maybe it's deeper - how you want to lead, how you want your work to matter.

You're committed to equity, access, and person-centered care. You can see where the system can be strengthened, and you want to be part of making it better. That might require something to shift - in how you lead, how you navigate the politics, how you hold boundaries while staying connected to what matters most.

You're ready for a thinking partnership

You need space to think and someone who asks the questions that lead to your own insights. Coaching creates that partnership - supporting the inner work of leading in new ways, navigating complexity with clarity, influencing with or without formal authority, building systems that work for everyone, including you.

In our work together, questions open new possibilities. The space is confidential, free from judgment. The foundation is trust - in your wisdom to find your path forward, in your capacity to navigate complexity. You have the answers. The questions are what unlock them.

Who I am

Cecile sitting on a gray couch holding a white mug and smiling at the camera, wearing a black top, gray pants, and red shoes in a cozy room with a beige fluffy pillow and a wall art in the background.

Hello, I'm Cecile Andreas. I spent 30 years as a family physician before transitioning to coaching in 2014. Throughout my medical career, I explored ways to optimize clinical work and navigate leadership within complex healthcare systems. This background means I understand healthcare from the inside - not just as an observer, but as someone who lived the complexity, felt the system strain, and knows what it means to care deeply about the impact of the work we do.

For more than a decade, I've worked with healthcare professionals across Canada - physicians, nurses, operational and clinical leaders - supporting them as they navigate the unique challenges of leading, thriving, and sometimes surviving in healthcare systems.

I transitioned from medicine to coaching to deepen how I support meaningful change. Coaching creates space for people to discover their own way forward, using their wisdom and deep knowledge of their systems.

I hold the Master Certified Coach (MCC) designation from the International Coaching Federation, which reflects thousands of hours of coaching practice and demonstrated mastery. This is about rigorously evaluated coaching skill, the ability to ask questions that matter, and trusting your wisdom to find your path forward.

I'm curious about what makes coaching work. My Master's research at Royal Roads University explored how coaching supports the well-being of women physicians in Canada. That work was informed by a systematic review of coaching interventions for physician burnout, published in PLOS ONE. The curiosity continues in my work teaching executive coaching at RRU and leading UBC's rural physician coaching and mentoring program (CAMP).

Our work is grounded in positive psychology, values clarification, and strengths-based coaching. It starts with deep respect for the complexity you're navigating and trust in your capacity to find your own way forward. The commitment is to sustainable leadership - for you and for the system.

In our work together, you set the agenda and bring the questions that matter most to you - navigating transitions, building influence, creating boundaries that hold, designing a practice that sustains rather than depletes.

All sessions are virtual, which means coaching support is available wherever you are across Canada (and beyond). Between sessions, email and text access provide space for insights or questions that don't wait for the next scheduled call.

The foundation is curiosity about your experience, belief in your capacity, and a confidential space where you can think without judgment. You have the wisdom to find your path forward. The questions are what unlock it.

Let's explore working together

If you're reading this and thinking 'yes, this resonates' - or even 'I'm curious about what this could mean for me' - let's talk.

I welcome a 30-minute exploratory conversation with you. We'll explore what you're navigating right now, what you're hoping for, and whether coaching might support that journey. You'll leave with clarity about your next steps - whether that's working together or something else entirely.
