Cecile Andreas

Cecile is an executive coach and family physician with more than 20 years’ experience in the healthcare industry.

In 2012, after many years practicing as a family physician, Cecile decided to pursue training in executive coaching. Her life experiences had made her acutely aware of  many missed opportunities to unlock the best in people – in organizations, teams and individuals. In coaching, she found a way of relating to people which allows her and the people she coaches to develop, grow and flourish. Cecile is an experienced facilitator, executive coach and team coach, who has worked with individuals, teams and organizations in a range of industries. She uses a strengths-based approach to personal development, using the Strengths Deployment Inventory (TotalSDI).

Cecile spent her career as a family physician working in regional hospitals, community hospitals and rural clinics in South Africa and Manitoba before settling in Cranbrook, BC with her family in 2005.

Cecile practices at the F.W. Green Clinic in Cranbrook, where she was a part of the practice redesign team.

Throughout her career, she has been interested in leadership. She has served as a board member of the East Kootenay Division of Family Practice and as Co-Chair of the East Kootenay Shared Care Steering Committee.

Cecile holds a medical degree from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa. She holds a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching, an Advanced Certificates in Group and Team Coaching and Coaching Psychology from Royal Roads University in Victoria, British Columbia. Cecile is a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator Candidate and a certified LEADS coach. She is certified to use the TotalSDI, EQi 2.0 and EQ360 tools.

Cecile continues to work with her coach in planning her own future.
